ny was great and much needed, i wish i never came back. i got to spend more time with my mom before i move and got to shop and eat at great restaurants all weekend. unfortunately, coming back home has cost me nothing but stress. yesterday, after i went to pick up my keys, i came back to my car and their was a boot on it costing me $115. and on top of that im not going to be able to move till tomorrow or into the weekend, AND im working open to close thursday through sunday. i dont know what to do...and i seriously can't wait till all of this is over. and it doesnt help that all i feel like doing is sitting in bed and watching skate doc's all day.

ive been wearing my boots around the house all morning! i love them so much. tomorrow i leave for ny, and wednesday i move to my new apartment, and ill be starting work next week! so much is happening all at once and its coming at me so quickly. im so excited for how things are turning out.

i have a lot of goals that i hope to achieve this year. it always comes down to my future, and what i want to do with myself for the rest of my life. lately, ive been feeling so uninspired. everythings the same, people are the same. nothing's challenging me and im tired of just being so comfortable. i want to finally feel refreshed from all the same shit ive been seeing, and hopefully getting away for awhile will do that. what bothers me the most is that i know that im better than this. than my current, boring self. i have so much to offer and i want to finally utilize what i have, into something productive and beneficial.

i have been lacking so much effort and lately its been really effecting me. i find myself just sitting on my ass all day really doing nothing. i want to know that im actually furthering myself, and not just wasting my time and effort. i need to actually utilize all this stored up knowledge to my advantage. i think this summer i have fell into a deep hiatus, but at the same time i think it has given me encouragement to do more. i want to finally look at myself and feel proud of what ive done. i want to feel achieved and accomplished. i think im finally ready, and this time i really want things to happen.

i have neglected this blog due to me not being able to even record any of these nonexistent events that have been going on in my life. all the days feel as though they seem to mesh into one and i cant even keep track of the dates anymore. im actually becoming more and more eager for school to start just to break this "comfortable" state im in right now. shit needs to get interesting. and by that i dont mean a night that consists of cheap beer and white noise.

This summer, i have been really laying low. i have cut down on going out, and im okay with it. I think i really needed this. I think since college has started, i took advantage of every opportunity to go out to make up for all the missed opportunities i had in the past. But now i think i have kind of grown out of it. Nowadays im okay with staying in, reading, writing, watching movies all day, etc. The simple things really do keep me happy and I'm content with having just "me time". I feel like an old lady, but fuck it im happy.

im in that state where i feel like everyone hates me, and then i start to hate myself. i over analyze everything that i do. i feel like ive become really boring, really dull, annoying, blahblahblah. this reminds me of a post that lesley arfin posted awhile back. i just start to think no one likes me, when in actuality they could give less of a shit about me. i tend to take shit personally sometimes, actually alot. i need to remember that "nothing is ever personal." people are dealing with their own shit, just like i am. the actual reason is, its not that people dont like me, its because they actually arent even thinking about me. caring too much has really put a damper on me, when it really shouldnt. the ones who dont care about me, shouldnt even matter to me anyway. the ones who do care are the ones who will stick around and deal with my bullshit. like what lesley says, "if i dont like me because they dont like me, i dont even deserve to be liked anyway."

i really just need to disappear for awhile.
